Comic spree!

Yesterday my gran called me and wanted to treat me to lunch. I don’t really like our lunches, but I said yes since I haven’t talked to her in a long while and I feel a bit bad about that. They always end up with me getting anoyed at her narrow view of the world and then having to sit there for anoter half hour or so nodding and smiling, because there’s really no point in arguing since se won’t change anyway. So nod and smile. Nod and smile.

Today was different though, it was nice. She’s had her eyes operated so she don’t have to wear glasses anymore and she was all enthusiastic about that, we agreed a bit about the state of the environment and she told me how worried she was about my dad. He’s got an infection in a muscle in the leg and he’s in a lot of pain atm. So all in all the the conversation wasn’t annoying and it was all good. Go grandma!

So then, being in the good mood I was I went down to the tattoo studio to book an appointment to finish the last bits on my tattoo and it turns out that Joahn, that’s been working on my back, has switched to another studio in Malmö, that’s about 20 minutes by train from where I live in Lund. I’ve been there about 4 times and I can’t really find my way around that well and I’m so gonna get lost when I go there. But I have to since I don’t want anyone else finishing my tattoo. And I know he really wants to finish it as well. So there’s no question about it. So yeah, they didn’t have his number at the old studio, Karl Lee, but I’m gonna dig it up and give him a call when I’m finished writing this.

So yeah, after that I went over to the comic shop and bought this:

That’s a Batman comic by Dave McKean called Arkham Asylum and Johnny the Homocidal Maniac by Johnen Vasquez. I’m so happy. I haven’t spent any money on anything fun in ages so I think I deserve these. :D

Now I’m gonna go make that phonecall and then I’m gonna wrap myself in a blanket, read my comics and eat a piece of that chocolate cake my gran gave me.

Over and out.

Edit: Talked to a very nice girl at the new tattoo studio and I’ve got an appointment on the 10th of april at 4 in the afternoon. Sucks that I have to wait that long, but it might be good for my economy. :)

Spring!

I looked out on my lawn today. It was nice and sunny and almost (gasp!) warm! Lovely, oh and look at how nice and green the grass is. Wait a minute! That’s not green! It’s not grass! It’s……

Construction site

My home is a construction site. I don’t know if I’ve told you, but they’re redoing the exterior of the buildings where I live and they’re also digging up the yards and blaaa it’s just so ugly and inconvenient at the moment.

Here’s what I see when I look out my kichen window. There used to be grass there.

And here’s what I see when I look out through my back door. It’s not as big a hole yet, but it will be.

But yeah, I mean, something really needs to be done. The area I live in is built in the 60s and it looks like something out of Soviet Russia. Add to all this that it’s really windy and raining at the moment. It’s really horrible.
