Yarr…what?
Yarrr! It’s what pirates use for a greeting. Everyone like pirates, at least the Threepwood style ones minted by Lucas Arts back in the day. Modern day pirates that kill real people and kidnap children – not so much. Let’s stick to the fictional ones.
Yarr!
Karp is the Swedish word for, dun-dun-duuu, carp. The fish. Why a fish, you ask? Well, it was quite accidental. It started out with a character name in a certain online MMO and derived from there. After a while I was known by most of my pretend Internet friends as Karp and started signing posts and PMs as such. I suppose it helps a little that I like carps. Which means you and I both are stuck with me being a bit fishy. Deal.
Avast!
I’m a bit obsessed with the design of this thing and I change it regularly in my seemingly futile quest for the perfect layout. So don’t be confused if it suddenly looks different. It’s most likely not you, it’s me. Although if you ever see any animated GIFs, clip art or sound loops on here, you should probably go have your head checked cause that won’t be me. It’ll be you, you bloody mental case. Well, either that, or I’ve been hacked and sabotaged and you should alert me immediately.
Now walk the plank or I’ll have to send my raptor to finish you off!
