Dictionary: Sand ray
Looks like very large stingrays, lives beneath the ground in the desert in groups of 5 to 10 individuals. They’re worshipped by some cultures because of the supposed magical powers in their flesh, particularly the flesh from their tails. Feeds on insects, but kills to protect their territory. Rare.
